Fossils

2S have been learning about Information Reports and during our Literacy Group time we have been reading a variety of Information Reports on subjects like Mummies and Bridges. This week we read about Fossils and we even had a go at making our own fossil from play dough!

A special visitor

This week we had a special visitor to our classroom. Mrs McLean came to the 2S classroom and she had baby Sadie with her! We tried to be very quiet as Sadie was asleep.

Kim Toft visits SJV

As part of Book Week celebrations here at SJV we had an author visit us. Kim Toft has written and illustrated books like A Sea of Words, The Twelve Underwater Days of Christmas and Tick tock tick tock What's Up Croc? Kim was not only a wonderful author she was an amazing painter as well!
