Fish and Chip Friday excursion

Today 2S walked to Bayside Park to enjoy a lunch of fish and chips and to help us remember all the people in the world that need our help. As part of our lunch activities we made a donation of $1.00 each to Project Compassion.

Dance Cart Concert

Chinese Ribbon Dance
Today 2S participated in our school Dance Cart Concert. All classes performed the dance they had been learning in Term 1. 2S performed the Chinese Ribbon Dance and they looked fabulous in their costume. Follow the link below to see how well 2S danced!

National Day of Action against Bullying

Friday March 15 was National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence. This annual day provides a focus for schools who want to say Bullying. No Way! and to strengthen their everyday messages that bullying and violence at school are not okay at any time.

Fish and Chips

This week SJV remembered the time of Lent with a whole school 'Fish and Chip Friday'. Some of the money raised from the lunch went to our school Project Compassion donation which helps people who are in need all around the world. It was a delicious way to eat fish on a Friday during Lent and to raise money to help others.

Ditto Show

Today 2S watched the Ditto Show. Ditto, who is a lion cub, taught us how to know when we don't feel safe and how to act when this happens. The best thing to do is to run and tell someone.
