Stradbroke Island Geography Excursion



On Thursday we travelled by boat to Minjerribah to follow clues to help us solve a puzzle about the Island. Katrina and Georgina were our Guides around the Island where we visited a famous tree, saw tools and weapons that the Quandamooka people used, explored a museum and heard Dreamtime stories from people who lived on the Island.

    the excursion was AWESOME!!! I loved it when Matt showed us how to throw a boomerang at the target and then we had a turn.

    The excursion was awesome, Sams favourite part was when we went on the passenger boat, we even saw dolphins!

    I really liked going to Straddie and seeing the koala and the dolphins. and i really really liked going on a boat for the first time.

    we found the Excursion fun,when we arrived at Dunwich we saw a cemetery there and we saw a tree with an Aboriginal flag on a tree.

    The boat trip was awesome! We saw five dolphins in the water and learnt about aborigines and saw a spear that they made. We wish to go back again!

    We enjoyed Stradbroke island!
    and we also saw dolphins on the way back. My favorite thing while we were there was when Matt showed and shared their story's.

    It was really fun on Stradbroke island we did really fun things like the Boomerangs and the museum and I really enjoyed the boat ride.

    We had a lot of fun travailing to and from Stradbroke Island , and we learned alot of things it kind of remind me of a whole other life.

    Has any of you ever been to North Stradbroke Island?

    Hi 2s we have learnt about our Excursion .We threw boomerangs and they discovered bones and shells.We also saw crabs.It was lots of fun.

    We threw boomerangs at a fake kangaroo but we missed. We really enjoyed the adventure at Stradbroke Island and the boat trip. We hope we can go there again.

    Hello 2S,
    Alannah enjoyed seeing the dolphins and the ship wreck. Alannah also learnt that there was a tree that caught on fire and it didn't stop. We walked on the beach and found lots of shells and bones.
