I'll have a half is an old saying... but it is a new concept for 2BP at the moment!We now know that half is part of two and that it must be equal, the same, or in other words..identical!
We know that only even numbers divide or share evenly! so numbers ending in: 0, 2, 4, 6 or 8 can be halved easlily.
Can you name some things that are half????

I like learning about halves because I like shapes and I like doing things to them like cutting them in half. You can glue them back together again. A half a circle is called a semi-circle.
