Fish and Chip Friday

To help us to remember the first Friday in Lent the whole school ate Fish and Chips. It was delicious!!!

Name Art

In Art we have been creating a poster with our first name. We used art paper, pencil, oil pastels and watercolours to create our beautiful artwork.

Year 2 Mass

On Saturday evening Year 2 and Year 3 celebrated a community Mass at the SJV church. It was lovely to see families praying together with teachers, friends and Father Frank.

Maths

This week in Maths 2S have been counting forwards and backwards by 10s from different starting points up to 1000. Do you know what number is 10 more?

Geography and History

In 2S we have been working hard and learning new things everyday. In Geography we are learning about the map of Australia and where to find Queensland, Brisbane and Manly. In History we have been learning about some of the old buildings that were here at SJV.  Wyvernleigh House used to be where the Blue Area is now. Did you know that Wyvernleigh House was the first house in Manly and its fence can still be seen today. Do you know where?
