Stradbroke Island Geography Excursion
On Thursday we travelled by boat to Minjerribah to follow clues to help us solve a puzzle about the Island. Katrina and Georgina were our Guides around the Island where we visited a famous tree, saw tools and weapons that the Quandamooka people used, explored a museum and heard Dreamtime stories from people who lived on the Island.

Preparing for our Geography Excursion
Year 2's will be travelling by bus and ferry to North Stradbroke Island next Thursday for a Geography Excursion. Today we had a special visitor in our classroom from North Stradbroke Island who helped us prepare for our excursion. We also had to take the Anthropologist's Pledge:
I promise to solve puzzles of people past and present. To always do my best. To make meaning of history. I'm an Anthropologist!

Ditto's Keep Safe Adventure
Today 2S watched the Ditto Show. Ditto, who is a lion cub from Bravehearts, taught us how to know when we don't feel safe and how to act when this happens. The best thing to do is to run and tell someone.
