Great Wall Marathon China

Mrs Bednall has travelled to China to run a marathon on the Great Wall of China. There will be over 2000 stairs to climb up and down as well as some beautiful villages to run through. Mrs B can't wait to share her stories about her travels in China when she gets back to 2S.

Meditative Prayer

Today we visited Sister Andrea to learn about Meditative Prayer. We had to sit very still and quiet in the Chapel to start and then we took deep breaths in and out. It was very quiet and calm during this time and we could hear the wind in the trees and the birds singing outside.

War Memorials excursion

Today 2S visited two local war memorials in Manly. The first memorial was the cenotaph at Richard Russell Park which had a statue of a soldier. The second memorial was a large rock with the words 'Lest We Forget' on it.

ANZAC Day Parade 2013

Wednesday April 25 is ANZAC Day when we remember all the men and women who have helped to keep our country safe and free. We thank them all.

Fun Maths Friday

Welcome to Term 2. It is the first week back at school after the Easter Holidays and today we had Fun Maths Friday. This is the day when we play lots of fun maths games to finish off our school week.
