A Big Week in 2V

This week was very exciting for 2V as we welcomed Mrs Mc to our classroom on Monday and Tuesday. In Maths we have been counting in 2's, 5's and 10's. You can practice this counting at home by playing POP with your family!

SJV went to church today for a mass to start off our school year. Lots of great singing and praying. Thank you to all the Mum's, Dad's and Grandparent's who came to join in our mass.

In our Unit Work - YOU ME US - we had the chance to learn more about each other by sharing some things that we liked to do and places we liked to go to. We also read a great book about how we are all alike and different at the same time.

Hi 2V!

Oh how I have missed you! :{

It is great to read what you have been doing, though. :}

I see you now have Mrs Mc and have welcomed her into the best class in the school (Shh! don't tell the other classes though!)

You have had the opening school Mass and had family there, as well.

I see you are playing pop! Fun game to play with the whole family or in the car on drives.

The You ME Us book help you to understand how we are all different but really very similar, too. I hope you are enjoying the reading of the class book? Are you reading Tashi? Mrs B and I find that is one of our Favourites with Roald Dahl books a close second.

I spoke with Mrs B about Adventure walks and so I think she might give one a try soon... don't let her forget!

I miss you but know that you will be having the best time in 2V.

Take care-

PP:)

Mrs Mc has enjoyed her first week here with 2V and has even started to give stamps to some students.

Playing POP was great fun and helped us to learn counting in
2's, 5's and 10's.

Juliet sang her favourite song in Mass - Hearts on Fire.

A very big welcome to Mrs Mc, we hope you enjoy your time with SJV.

Baylin tells me he has good teachers and likes his class. Today he enjoyed playing soccer with Heath, Archer, Cooper and Sam. He said he got to play in the rain and enjoyed that too.
